Apostolic
Oversight
Dr. Stephen G. Allen
Dr. Steve Allen began pastoring Harvest Christian Fellowship in Spokane,
Washington, over 30 years ago at the age of 23. As a young man, he was greatly
used in the Spokane area to spark revival among Catholic youth. His burden for
young people has continued to this day as God has called him to "raise up
leaders for the next generation."
In 1987, the vision to train young men and women exploded in his heart and he
began to challenge the youth of his church to answer the call to be "world
changers." The Master's Commission was birthed in 1988 as a powerful way to
equip these future leaders with all that they would need to fulfill this great
call. Today there are over 1,000 Master's Commission
graduates around the world and Master's Commission programs in the
United States, South Africa, Australia, Canada and Switzerland, that
recognize Dr. Allen as the founder of the Master's Commission: A Call to
Character.
Dr. Allen is president and founder of Generational Ministries Fellowship (GMF)
an apostolic network of ministries, committed to fathering generations of sons
and daughters of vision, discipling the nations and to advancing the Kingdom
of God in the earth. In 2004, Apostle Steve felt compelled to relocate
with his family to South Africa. There, with Dallas
Sphar, they are ministering as an apostle/prophet team to a new generation of
South Africans. Dr. Allen and his family, and the
Sphar
family, reside on a beautiful 95 acre Mission Base near
Jeffery's Bay in the Eastern Cape.
Dr. Allen's ministry has touched the nations of Japan, Jamaica, the Bahamas,
Australia, South Africa, Mexico, Russia, Slovakia, Poland, Sweden, Finland and
most recently Zimbabwe,
as well as throughout the United States. His strong fathering anointing has
impacted young and old around the world.
While pastoring for 30 years in Spokane, WA., Dr. Allen's church occupied the
original site of John G. Lake Tabernacle. After years of contending and
believing for Dr. Lake's mantle, Apostle Steve now believes that those prayers
have, in part, been responsible for carrying him to South Africa.
Dr.
Allen, and his wife Patty, have six children and three grand children. |
